Gingerbread House!

Today we arrived in Roseburg and soon were making 3 gingerbread houses. They turned out beautifully. This year only Jarrett needed help. Grace and Faith did theirs all by themselves. The houses came pre-assembled and only need to be decorated--soon they will have the technique of being able to spread the frosting better--that is a lot harder than it looks!!!

Christmas

I have been up to my grandchildren's in Roseburg, Oregon for 5 days for our Christmas holidays. It has been so much fun!! Grace has been wanting me to blog, so here I am!!! She is watching me over my shoulder!! I have loved watching everyone discover and play with their new stuff!! I really enjoyed the Planet Earth DVD game that Grace got based on the series that I had gotten last year.

Now In Roseburg

Guess where I am? In Roseburg, Oregon, with my grandchildren!!! And my oldest is wondering why I haven't been blogging? I said, "would you rather I blog or make jam?" Jamming really, really took over in our house between entertaining folks!

Almost At An End

We're almost at the end of a fun time here in Salinas with grandchildren! In the past, it was more me teaching assorted things; now, I'm finding that I'm learning so much from them. In fact, so much so, that I can't blog any more as it's time to make our 4th gallon of lemonade!

Vacation Week

This is a fun week with my 3 Oregon grandchildren. This blog is a result of my 9 year old granddaughter feeling that grandma needs a blog! (I will come into this 21st century yet!) In the last 24 hours, we have played with clay, worked a little on an inkle loom, started a knitting project, made muffins, picked blackberries, made lemonade from scratch. It will be fun to see what the next 24-48 hours will bring!
